If we were in a room full of people and asked anyone who regularly checks their roof to raise their hand, I bet there wouldn’t be much movement.  And that’s okay, the roof is designed to be tough and to protect your home without constant checks.

However, that doesn’t mean you should have a professional inspection of the roof regularly.  The importance of roof maintenance can be clear when the roofer spots a problem that could have led to a major issue such as broken roof tiles letting water into the loft and causing damp.

We have a variety of roof maintenance packages we offer to suit customers needs.  Sometimes it is just a simple visual inspection and a few checks around the roofline.  Other times, for older roofs, it can be more comprehensive and may involve checking from the inside as well as the outside.

If we do spot any problems then we can give a quote for the work needed to solve them.  We can also tell you how urgent the problem is - sometimes these measures can be preventative and can be done over the coming weeks.  Other times they are urgent and need to be done ASAP to avoid damage, especially in winter.
